Non believers have always negated these explanations saying there is nothing paranormal about orbs. These round balls are nothing but reflections of small dust particles and specks that are caught by the flash of the camera. This is the reason why orbs are not seen in photos taken in sun light or inside homes during daytime. With the introduction of digital cameras, more and more people have begun to report orbs showing up in their photos, even taken inside homes. These days, orbs are seen in happy occasions also with many seen in photos taken during birthdays and anniversaries.

One thing that everybody is willing to concede is that whether spirits or not, these spiritual orbs are harmless and have nothing to terrorize people. There are incidents where professional photographers have felt these orbs trying to feel their equipment in a harmless manner. This suggests, rather corroborates, the truth behind theories that claim these orbs to be ghosts living in our midst.

Whether ghosts or not, orbs are pure energy manifested in the form of blobs in photos, and this is what makes them so very special.
