Hunting for orbs requires as little or as many tools that you can think of. However, for starters the most basic tool is perhaps the video camera and or a digital camera, because you’ll need proof of your ghostly findings. Don’t waste your time with film cameras!
Cameras are a must have tools for any orb hunter, as they are capable of capturing orbs, do not confuse film cameras with digital cameras, film cameras yield little or no results when it comes to capturing orbs. You’ll need a digital camera instead. Best places to take photographs are places of heightened emotional activity, such as bars, clubs, house parties, weddings, birthdays, however you’ll see instant results when you take a picture of a cemetery, you’ll see several orbs in the picture flying around, and some of them will vary in color and size. Colors can vary from red, yellow, green etc.
Simple rods can yield bone chilling results!

Dowsing and diving rods are a great way of finding the paranormal activity hotspot. These rods are L-shaped. Keep in mind that you’ll be needing two rods, one in each hand. Before you can begin using the dowsing rods, you will need to believe in the spirit, and keep your head clear of all negative thought. The mechanism of action works something like this: take for example, you’re walking in a cemetery holding the two rods, ask the spirit to point the rods in the direction of paranormal activity, the spirit will then point both rods towards itself, and you’ll soon be shocked to find out how the rods move. Finding Orbs the high-tech way
EMF meters are a great way of finding paranormal activity. Try using a digital EMF meter, as the analog ones are soon becoming obsolete. Keep in mind that, you’ll need to isolate any devices that give off microwave frequency, unplug all equipment from your home, turn off all power sources, including lights and measure readings in the dark, the darkness will also make orbs more comfortable and you’re likely to get higher readings.
